![]() Very, very, very rare.Been to many cons, thank you very much, large and small. It's VERY rare that you find empty demo areas for good games. Have you been to a con? In general, if you don't have to wait in line, you either have special friends somewhere or the product sucks. Clunky controls, so plastic gameplay, horrendously easy, lack of any real info on the game from the devs and so on. You are right about lack of consistent revenue, but is something they could easily fix with a cosmetic only store in d3 with an expansion.Īll the critique I have read WAS about the game. I'm going to avoid most of this to avoid repetition. You'll find nearly all the dislike for the game falling into the former category, not the latter.Īnd since I've already gotten flak for that argument, I do not personally support Diablo Immortal and wish they'd make a game I'd play, but for a mobile game, it's honestly the best I've ever personally tried, up there with Hearthstone. You know why I quoted you but whatever. Try rereading those arguments while separating the criticism for it being mobile from the criticism of the game itself. The only other franchise like that is Starcraft, which is only saved due to its immense popularity as an esport. Because, let us be frank, the Diablo franchise has a small following and has no consistent revenue. Their intent is to appeal to people outside of their standard Diablo audience. No one, not even Blizzard, expects that the game will be a hit for PC gamers. The reception of the actual game, from the people who've played it and their intended audience, is good. The lack of "soul" (which is incredibly wishy-washy and means basically nothing) boils down to it being on mobile. For a PC/Console gamer, the controls are probably trash. For their intended audience, the controls are standard and quite good. What I've heard are the controls are iffy, which is mainly a mobile issue. ![]() I've yet to find articles criticizing the game and how it plays. They're saying the the gameplay itself is fun. To elaborate: Blizzard is not saying that Diablo fans are excited by the game. Your point being? No idea why you quoted me. ![]()
